reich is a young and talented instrumentalist playing alto saxophone. he is a graduate of the taplitz-wien school of music, where he performed principal flute roles with the taplitz symphony orchestra, the staatsorchester wien and the ulmer philharmoniker. reich currently studies with professor charles weidman at the state university of new york at new paltz. reich has previously played with the ensembles of the dallas symphony orchestra and the grammy award-winning big band, the pete rock group.

he has performed in recital all over north america, and has performed with buddy guy, ray charles, herbie hancock, ahmad jamal, joe williams, billy cobham, bobby hutcherson, lou rawls, randy brecker, kenny garrett and hank crawford.
